Dry Hair:

Best time to detangle all your lived-in Curls. NB: When your hair is dry, it is at its strongest, making it the best time to work your way through your dreaded locks without causing any internal damage to your strands.


Wet Hair:

Your Flexi Brush really comes into its own at this moment, ensuring that your Hydration and Styling routine is as effective as possible.

  • Hydration: once you have applied your recommended Conditioner, reach for your Flexi Brush and begin working through your hair section by section. It is best to start at the mid/end of each section and work your way up. This is essential for battling FRIZZ and adding Hydration.
  • Styling: once you have applied your recommended Styler, reach for your Flexi Brush and begin working through your hair section by section to distribute and begin to form your Curl Clumps. The smaller you make your clumps, the more VOLUME you will achieve. The larger you make your Curl Clumps, the less Volume you will achieve. 


It is best to start at the mid/end of each section and work your way up. 


Using the Flexi Brush is essential for battling FRIZZ.


NB If you find your clumps rejoining and getting bigger than you would like, don’t fret. Use your fingers to rake through and break up any Curl-Gangs that are too clicky.


Air-dry or diffuse-dry, either works fine. Make sure to use our VOLUME+ Combs to help you get the root lift you need/want.

  • If you find your Curl Clumps are getting messy and you're not loving it, mist your hair down with some warm water and apply a very small amount of Oomph/Cruise Control to your strands using flat hands in a prayer shape. Gliding down the lengths of the Curls. Apply more as needed and continue around the head. (for any curl perfectionists, you can grab your Flexi Brush and detangle any clumps that are too far gone at this moment).
  • Scrunch your Curls like a slinky when complete. This will rebuild the shape of your beautiful hair.
  • Air-dry or diffuse-dry, either works fine. Make sure to use our VOLUME+ Combs to help you get the root lift you need/want.
